What is a Shootout tournament?

Shootout Round:

A tournament where no one moves from their original table until there is one person left.

The last player standing at each of the starting tables will then be combined to form new Tables which will then play normally.

This is a great way to get some heads up and short final table experience and overall it’s just going to be a lot of FUN!

Rules to know:

Once the tournament begins you will have the usual 1 hour to enter the tournament with one new exception. For Shootout tournaments once we have filled the tables present at start time we will not fill any new tables until there are enough late arrivals to start a table of at least 7 players. Basically, once a player busts off a table that seat will not be filled by anyone.

So, for best results get to this one before the tournament starts or you may be waiting for a bit.

Players may chop when they reach the final 3 however chops must be facilitated by the players. The Venue and AHL Poker have no say in the chop.
